Informatica ETL Developer SQL; SSIS

Senior Application Software Engineer (ETL/ SQL)
Reports to IT Manager, Business Intelligence (Financial Analytic Solutions)
Responsibilities
? Analyze, design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom
built technology solutions to meet business needs.
? Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of
improvements based on business need and architectural improvements
? Meet with business partners to understand business needs
? Responsible for overall design of the solution
? Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes
and functionality
? Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers
Specific Assignments
? The position is aligned with our Finance business partners and is to support their key projects
o Remittance/ eligibility/ revenue reconciliation
o Health benefit ratio (medical loss ratio) calculations
? Partner with IT lead and business owners to
o Effectively communicate development status in daily standups
o Define technical requirements
o Provide accurate level of effort estimates
o Define scope of sprints
o Define testing requirements
? Teradata/SQL Server development including
o Table/view creation
o Macro creation/maintenance
o Stored procedure creation/maintenance
o Analyzing data and queries to collect relevant statistics and create applicable indexes, or
for production issues
o Performance tuning of queries for better performance
o Partner with DBA as needed
? Informatica/ SSIS
o Maintain existing Solutions and Packages
o Develop new solutions and packages connecting to disparate data sources
o Develop portable production ready packages
Experience
? 3+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and building Teradata ETL solutions
? Strong experience with SQL on Teradata and/ or SQL server
?

Experience with Information and/ or SSIS ETL tools
? Understanding of database design and modeling
? Teradata Certified Professional preferred
? Healthcare or Finance experience a plus
