Overview
Care Vet is a veterinary practice management group that focuses on acquiring and managing best‑in‑class hospitals throughout the United States. The System Administrator will be a trusted member of the IT team, located in St. Louis, Missouri. Reporting to the IT Director, this person will be responsible for leading our vision to develop an outstanding support team and help increase our security posture in the IT field. They will work directly with IT vendors and MSPs to collaborate best possible solutions for our remote hospitals.
The Senior System Administrator will also play a key role in isolating and resolving software problems involving applications, operating systems, and hardware.
- Integrate existing systems and applications to include O365 migrations
- Create and manage Active Directory Services
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot key infrastructure application software
- Advance IT service through continuous improvement including the upgrade and consolidation of legacy systems
- Work in multiple software and hardware vendor platforms and be willing to adapt technical skills to meet the needs of our hospitals
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT Management, or related IT discipline
- 1‑3 years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft O365 Environments, must include:
- Tenant migration
- Licensing requirements and user account administration
- Administration of cloud‑hosted solutions for applications:
SharePoint, Outlook, One Drive, Exchange
- Microsoft or CompTIA certifications preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
