Lead Teachers
to support the following age groups:
- Infants
- Preschool
To be
QUALIFIED
for the Lead Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diploma and the ability to pass all background checks. We also require an associate's or a bachelor'sdegree in early childhood education or a a completed associate's or bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits of early childhood education or their equivalent. A plus if you have previous working with infants or with preschoolers!
Required Shift:Monday - Friday, 8:45am-5:45pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm
Compensation: $18-$21 per hour,based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process for Lead Teachers:

Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Teachers:
- Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
- Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine;
Useour parent communication appefficiently. - Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
- Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
