Role:
Automation Engineer supporting Process Control Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at a biopharma manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with standards for existing and new equipment.
- configure and support MES platforms, enable real-time production data capture, automate workflows, and integrate systems
- collaborate with Process Engineers and Operations to develop and review system specifications
- support audits, implement change management, and participate in SOP development
- adhere to safety and quality protocols
- and support site initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with a minimum of 3-7 years' experience in process manufacturing systems
- knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Emerson Syncade, PAS-X), DCS/SCADA, SQL, and programming languages (, Power Shell, C#)
- experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, or packaging operations
- ability to work in an open environment with up to 10% travel
- experience with DeltaV
- planning and organization skills
- familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies
