Medical Assistant CMA/RMA - Clayton and Raleigh Float
Join our energetic, well‑trained team at JMA Pediatrics. We are hiring full‑time Medical Assistant CMA or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support our providers and patients in Clayton and Raleigh locations.
Responsibilities- Manage the intake process: take and record vital signs, height, weight, vision, hearing, and related patient visit data.
- Gather patient and family medical and social history.
- Review current medication list, allergies, and preferred pharmacy.
- Assist the provider during treatments, examinations, and procedures.
- Administer vaccinations under provider direction.
- Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, and basic lab testing.
- Review patient records to determine current and potential care needs.
- Provide patients with after‑visit summary, follow‑up care or procedural instructions, and educational materials as directed by provider.
- Coordinate specialty programs such as Vaccine Inventory Coordinator, Population Health Specialist, and other growth opportunities.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with EHR systems and vital sign monitoring.
- Basic life support certification.
- Experience in outpatient settings.
