Plantation Park Animal Hospital is a full‑service hospital with innovative and progressive treatment options, including digital X‑ray, low‑level therapy laser, full in‑house CBC, chemistry, chemotherapy, chiropractic, surgical suite and specialization in canine reproduction. Our hospital is open Mondays – Fridays, 8 am – 6 pm, with 2 late nights a week. Mondays and Thursdays are open until 8 pm to help clients with after‑work urgent appointments.
We encourage a great balance of work and family by not being open on the weekends. We have supportive staff, including several tenured registered veterinary technicians, 30‑minute appointments, dedicated lunches, and a positive working environment.

Position TypePRN (as needed) – with potential for part‑time/full‑time as we grow
ScheduleThis position is 6–10 hours per week, primarily on Mondays and Thursdays, with the possibility of an additional day during the week.
Job Duties- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area.
- Greet and welcome clients and patients.
- Answer questions, triage client concerns, and direct calls or emails to the appropriate party.
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow.
- Check in and check out clients and process payments.
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need.
- Be comfortable with unpleasant odors, noises, bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
- Participate in virtual and hands‑on training and continuing development opportunities.
- Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience preferred.
- Compassionate, calm, team player, multitasker, and strong communicator.
- Highly organized with proficient computer skills.
- Self‑starter with a desire to advance knowledge and skillset.
