Junior Varsity Softball Assistant Coach

Overview

Thales Academy is a private school dedicated to developing classical thinkers by preparing our students to become well-roun​ded citizens eager to transform a global society. The Athletics program competes at the state level in the NCISAA and is a member of the Raleigh Area Athletic Conference.

The Junior Varsity Softball Team is a spring sport that runs from February to May. We are seeking qualified coaching candidates to assist with the team.

• Conduct tryouts for the team
• Create plans for all practices and games
• Manage game decisions, playing time, and feedback from players and parents
• Continuously communicate with the Athletic Director, players, and parents
• Provide instruction and development skills to students in relation to the assigned sport
• Contribute to the education program and support the growth of student-athletes so that they are competitively successful

All coaches will be paid with a stipend at the end of the season.

• New Junior High Head Coach: $400
• Returning Junior High Head Coach: $500

As a part-time, non-contract position, this employment does not include any benefits package.
