Finance Specialist
It is an exciting time to become a member of Pritchard Companies, a family-owned organization now operated by the fourth and fifth generations of the original founding family. As we continue to expand and strengthen our national footprint in the transportation industry, we are seeking high-quality accounting talent to support our growth and operations.
The Finance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient management of customer accounts and supporting deal-closing processes. This position will also serve as a backup for Office Managers as they are out, providing coverage and continuity across locations when needed.
Responsibilities- Process customer payments, vehicle payoffs, and supporting deal documentation
- Perform daily accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Maintain accuracy in deal processing and transaction flow
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Support audit inquiries, reconcile reports, and maintain accurate invoicing and collections records
- Provide backup support to Office Managers, ensuring consistent workflow and coverage across assigned locations

- Minimum of 2 years of entry-level accounting experience (AR, AP, reconciliation, or related bookkeeping) required
- Valid driver's license
- Office experience preferred
- Previous automotive sales experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematical and analytical abilities
- Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 90% of the workday)
- High school diploma or GED required; additional business/accounting coursework preferred
