We are partnering with the owners of Growthland, a respected agricultural real estate, appraisal, and business advisory firm based in various locations in Iowa, to find an experienced Certified General Appraiser to join their independent contractor network.

Growthland’s strongest need is in North Central Iowa, though they remain open to conversations with appraisers located in the Northwest or Northeast regions of Iowa.

This unique partnership allows you to operate with the freedom and earning potential of a 1099 appraiser — while benefiting from Growthland’s unmatched data resources, systems, processes, and team support.

• Currently operating independently as a Certified General Appraiser and want access to stronger systems, tools, and administrative support.
• Leading a small appraisal team and need more scalable infrastructure (CRM, pipeline visibility, sales data, research support, report tools).

• Wanting to spend more time on valuation, inspections, and client relationships — and less time on paperwork, billing, data gathering, and admin tasks.

• Certified General Appraiser (Iowa or reciprocity eligible).
• Agricultural or rural property experience required.
• Strong analytical, valuation, and narrative writing skills.
