Lead Responsibilities
- Pull, package, and palletize parts accurately and efficiently.
- Work alongside the production crew to meet daily goals and deadlines.
- Assist with directing and supervising employees while remaining hands-on with daily production duties.
- Help train new employees and provide guidance to team members.
- Monitor work quality and ensure attention to detail.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Communicate with management regarding production needs, employee concerns, and issues.
- Take on additional supervisory responsibilities as performance and independence increase.
- Lead by example while working alongside the crew each day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely handle and package parts and materials.
- Ability to perform hands-on production duties for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, responsible, and willing to take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
- Ability to provide direction and support to team members.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to remain hands-on and perform production duties while supervising.
- Training will be provided; raises and advancement opportunities are based on job performance, skills, and demonstrated independence.
