Inside Sales Representative - Seasonal (Sales)

Responsible for promoting the sale of company masonry and landscape products through counter sales and phone orders. Assist with directing the yard crew to coordinate shipping and handling of sold products.

7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

• Promotes a culture of safety.
• Provides customer service to walk‑in and call‑in customers; communicates effectively and responds to diverse customer environments and needs.
• Handles customer complaints and problems promptly.
• Participates in day‑to‑day store operations during peak sales days, with a primary focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service.
• Processes transactions with the Point of Sale (POS) system quickly and accurately, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to customers.
• Coordinates intra‑customer transfers and customer deliveries of masonry and landscaping materials.
• Monitors inventory levels and communicates with the Location Manager.
• Assists in maintaining clean and orderly product storage/display areas.
• Develops appropriate product knowledge of masonry and landscape products offered by the company; promotes and sells related products as they are introduced.

• Some education beyond high school and/or related experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work without direct supervision; adapts easily to a diverse customer base.
• Requires sound decision‑making and good math skills.
• Basic operation knowledge of computers, calculators, and audio/visual equipment; industry‑specific software experience is a plus.

May need to occasionally lift landscape products ranging from 30 to 70 lbs in weight. Requires good vision and the ability to perceive colors and shapes. Also requires walking, standing, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and grasping. The position involves exposure to seasonal Midwest weather conditions.
