Lifetime Products Inc. invites applications for the entry-level Sales Assistant – Metals position. This onsite office role supports our high-volume sales operations across the Metals division.
SummaryAs a Sales Assistant – Metals, you will provide administrative, clerical, and technical assistance to the Sales Department, enabling the efficient flow of information and tasks. Your role requires strong time and project management, proactive communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
Responsibilities- Provide a variety of administrative, clerical, and technical support to streamline workflow within the Sales Department.
- Review reports and other correspondence and route them to the appropriate staff member.
- Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentation documents.
- Maintain and update database information.
- Collect and compile information in response to internal and external requests (sales orders, order status, etc.).
- Utilize a wide range of software/automation equipment to support office functions.
- Work closely with scheduling to ensure orders are scheduled so purchase order can ship out on time.
- Complete load sheets and gather necessary paperwork needed for shipping material.
- Schedule truck for shipping.
- Run open order reports regularly for assigned out-of-house accounts to insure we are shipping on time.
- Use LPDS to request new part number creation; work with Metals engineering, quality, and sales manager to ensure all needed information is populated on required spreadsheet so change management can create the part number.
- High school diploma, GED, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
- Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must pass a background screening.
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
