Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Project Manager Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located on site in Clearfield, UT This role requires a strong background in project management, engineering, and construction. With a focus ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

The successful candidates will coordinate with multiple stakeholders in order to deliver a successful project.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage construction projects to include reviewing incoming department requests, cost estimate and schedule reviews, contractor workforce management, and coordination with other departments.
* Oversees the construction of new or expanded facilities.
* Prepares architectural and engineering cost estimates and schedules.
* Obtains and supervises outside contractors.
* Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
* Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
* Supervises the budgetary costing, standardized construction, and final inspection of facility projects.
* Prepare and present reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and any deviation from the original plan.
* Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Project Manager Level 4:
* Bachelor's degree with 8 years of work experience in at least one of the following fields:
Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Construction, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Electrical, Process, Production & Manufacturing. Or Master's degree with 6 years of experience in at least one of the mentioned fields. Or Phd with 4 years of experience in at least one of the mentioned fields.

* Must have strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

* Must have experience in managing construction projects.

* Must have experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera)

* Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the job function (i.e. Revit, MS Visio, MS Project, and other construction design software)

* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret clearance and necessary Special Program Accesses (SAP)

* Must possess a valid Utah State driver's license or must acquire a Utah driver's license within 30 days from the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

* Active DOD Secret/Top Secret level clearance and Special Program Access
* Facilities experience in the Defense sector along with understanding of security standard ICD 705
* Experience in aeronautics industry
* Excellent presentation skills
