Northrop Grumman is seeking either a Principal Facilities Construction Engineer Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Construction Engineer Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Clearfield, UT

Job Description :
Manage construction projects to include reviewing/assigning incoming department requests, cost estimate and schedule reviews, contractor workforce management, and coordination with other departments.

Key responsibilities:

* Plans, designs, and oversees the construction of new or expanded facilities.

* Prepares architectural and engineering cost estimates and schedules.

* Obtains and supervises outside contractors.

* Recommends architectural and engineering design procedures and standards for the planning and design of facilities.

* Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.

* Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.

* Supervises the detailed design, budgetary costing, standardized construction, and final inspection of facility projects.

* Prepare and present reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and any deviation from the original plan.

* Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. This position may be filled as either a Principal Facilities Construction Engineer Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Construction Engineer Level
4. Basic Qualifications for Construction Engineer 3
* Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years Construction management, or construction engineering experience or 3 years Construction management, or construction engineering experience with a Masters Degree

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

* Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.

* Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the job function (i.e. Revit, MS Visio, MS Project, and other construction design software).

* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and necessary Program Accesses

* Must possess a valid Utah State driver's license or must acquire a Utah driver's license within 30 days from the time of hire Basic Qualifications for Construction Engineer 4
* Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years Construction management, or construction engineering experience or 6 years Construction management, or construction engineering experience with a Masters Degree

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

* Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.

* Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the job function (i.e. Revit, MS Visio, MS Project, and other construction design software).

* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and necessary Program Accesses
