The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Project Scheduler to join the SDS & LEOS IP&S team at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
The successful candidate prepares, develops, and coordinates integrated schedules and schedule related products to meet program and/or project requirements. A successful candidate will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders as well as external customers in the development and maintaining of production schedules. In summary, the successful candidate will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders in the development of integration master schedules.
The successful candidate will also be a detail-oriented, self-starter which is able to take requirements and execute with little direction in a fast-paced environment.
Position ResponsibilitiesIndependently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
- 3 or more years of experience building Integrated Master Plans
- 3 or more years of experience in managing complex integrated schedules or projects
- 3 or more years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.
- 3 or more years of experience utilizing scheduling systems and tools to create and maintain production schedules
- 1+ year of proven multi-function, multi-site project management experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field
- Experience working with BRAIDSS
- Experience with GOLDesp
