Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Drafter / CAD Designer to support the Minuteman III (MMIII) program
. This individual will work onsite with the government customer and support engineering drawing development, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, Engineering Orders, and quality control.
This is a hands‑on drafting position for someone who is comfortable taking engineering changes through the drawing, documentation, review, and QC process.
Responsibilities- Develop, update, review, and validate technical drawings and Engineering Orders (EOs)
- Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD
- Create and modify 3D models using Solid Works
- Incorporate engineering and program changes into existing drawings
- Create and submit Change Notice Engineering Orders
- Review drawings and documentation for accuracy prior to QC submission
- Track projects through final release into the drawing repository
- Support the development and improvement of drafting and QC processes
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable ASME and Air Force Drawing Standards
- Provide backup Configuration Management support for elevated-priority projects
