Psychometrist – Tanner Clinic

We are hiring immediately for a Psychometrist position at Tanner Clinic. Join us to administer and score neuropsychological tests, maintain equipment, and provide essential support services.

• Administer standardized and non-standardized tests of cognitive functions.
• Score all tests administered and prepare an accurate summary of scores and behavioral observations.
• Maintain test equipment and order supplies, equipment, and forms as needed.
• Perform occasional administrative support tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or other Behavioral Science.

Other Requirements

• Prior experience with neuropsychological testing preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation, psychological research methods, and assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to elicit cooperation from patients with cognitive, behavioral, and psychiatric problems.
• Highly motivated, organized, and with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent observational skills and the ability to record observations.
• Demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, project a pleasant professional image, plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.

• Standard medical exam/office equipment, including a computerized health information management system for medical records.

• Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings: well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies. Occasional stress from dealing with many staff and patients.
