The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG‑MIP) is an approved Skill Bridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction NG‑MIP is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days.
The program is open to all ranks and experience levels. Skill Bridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Northrop Grumman, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active‑duty service members.
- On‑site internship in an entry to mid‑level career type role.
- Full‑time work schedule equivalent to 40 hours per week.
- Support a wide range of duties as defined by the host company.
- Participate in professional development, networking with leadership, and training focused on Northrop Grumman leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.
- Has served at least 180 days on active duty.
- Is within 12 months of separation or retirement.
- Will receive an honorable discharge.
- Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
- Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
- Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD Skill Bridge Program prior to start of internship.
The role is onsite in Clearfield, Utah
. The role will establish and maintain proposal metrics, drive insights for leadership, and complete other operations & integrations project management duties as needed.
Responsibilities- Manage the initiation, development, and completion of proposals to RFPs, and assist with development of associated products such as responses to requests for information, capabilities statements, white papers, briefings, etc.
- Lead collaborative proposal kick‑offs with relevant program and functional stakeholders to ensure communication of proposal strategy, requirements and schedule.
- Establish proposal schedule and drive cross‑functional teams to meet commitment dates.
- Lead rhythmic reviews of proposal portfolios to maintain status and dates.
- Collaborate with business management in developing NCTA cost estimates related to proposal development and provide subsequent oversight and tracking of NCTA funds.
