The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

As a Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform a combination of duties during 95% of your day, including but not limited to:
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise.
• Participate in freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures.
• Assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate Forklift and Cardboard Baler (unless under 18).
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Maintain poultry safety and sanitation.
• Complete all related documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

• Indoor environment with moderate noise.
• Hard surfaces; adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Adhere to safety guidelines.

• Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull merchandise with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders frequently.
• Operate store equipment.
• Handle birds/poultry safely.
• Complete training and certifications.
