Job DescriptionSecurity Officer – Mobile Patrol (DOD Clearance) – $21.50 per hour.
Schedule
Tue – Sat: 12:30 AM – 08:30 AM.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record for over one year.
- 21+ years of age.
- Active DoD secret clearance.
- Able to walk/stand for long periods.
- Comfortable with computers and tablets.
- Customer service experience.
- CPR Certified.
- Provide high‑quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
- Greet guests and employees; escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
- Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client and/or other security personnel.
- Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- DoD position‑appropriate level security clearance.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- At least one of the following: minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD‑cleared site, or prior military experience.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client‑specific sites.
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
