Garage Door Installer / Service Technician – Clearfield, UT

• Install garage doors and openers at job sites.
• Perform service and repairs on garage doors and door openers.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Load and unload supplies and materials.
• Effectively communicate job status and key issues to Manager.
• Perform routine pre‑ and post‑ inspections to ensure suitable working nature of equipment and vehicles; maintain necessary equipment logs and inform supervisor of deficiencies.
• Prioritize work activity according to business need and as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with installation of insulation when workload dictates the need.
• Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Adhere to company safety standards and procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience installing garage doors or similar activity a plus.
• Current medical card and clean MVR required;
  Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Experienced residential/commercial installers preferred.

• Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time‑sensitive and quality‑centered environment.
• Demonstrates initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform accurate measurement and basic calculations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Safety conscious.

• Heavy: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly.
• Repetitive motion associated with operating equipment, unloading materials, and assorted manual/power tools.
• Regular exposure to the elements.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
