About the Role

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a Staff Accountant with hands-on experience managing accounting across multiple entities. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle general ledger accounting for multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with consolidated reporting.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations.
• Support audits and tax filings with accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and financial accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, Sage, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with intercompany eliminations and consolidations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
