About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our energetic team of seven finance professionals supporting an $800 million division of a global, publicly traded organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the division’s financial reporting, analysis, and month‑end close process
, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial results.
This position offers exposure to both corporate and operational accounting
, with opportunities to collaborate across departments and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
. - Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses to support the close process.
- Assist with consolidation, intercompany transactions, and eliminations within the global reporting structure.
- Support the preparation of management reporting packages
, KPIs, and ad hoc analyses for leadership. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper accounting for revenues, expenses, and capital projects.
- Participate in the annual audit process
, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors. - Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
, with at least 2 years in public accounting highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
, financial reporting, and internal controls. - Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
