• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger and support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
• Apply GAAP‑compliant revenue recognition standards in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Review and classify credit card transactions to ensure proper coding and timely entry into the general ledger
• Process and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements per company policy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Assist with the preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and internal reviews
• Analyze financial data to support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for improved efficiency
• Support the Controller on ad‑hoc projects and special assignments

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel proficiency
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
