Manager, Internal Audit

About the Role The Manager, Internal Audit is responsible for leading operational, financial, compliance, and SOX audit activities that support effective risk management and strong internal controls across TD SYNNEX. This role evaluates business processes, identifies opportunities for improvement, provides advisory support to leadership, and helps ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. The position also plays a key role in developing audit talent, driving audit innovation, and promoting best practices across the organization.

What You'll DoLead and execute operational, financial, compliance, and SOX audits from planning through reporting.

Perform risk assessments and contribute to the development of the annual audit plan.

Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal financial and operational controls.

Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, transaction testing, data analytics, and control reviews.

Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.

Prepare audit reports, communicate findings, and recommend practical solutions.

Partner with management to develop and track corrective action plans.

Monitor audit findings and ensure timely remediation of identified issues.

Maintain complete and accurate audit documentation, work papers, and supporting records.

Coordinate activities with internal and external audit teams.

Manage multiple audit projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.

Supervise, coach, and mentor Audit Seniors and staff members.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, including audit automation and data analytics.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA or CIA certification required.
6+ years of audit experience, including financial, operational, compliance, and/or SOX auditing.

Experience leading audit engagements and managing audit teams.

Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment methodologies, and auditing standards.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications Big Four public accounting experience.

Experience with in retail, distribution, technology, or other complex multinational organizations.

Knowledge of IT risks, controls, and audit concepts.

Experience with audit analytics, automation, and technology-enabled auditing tools.

Working Conditions

Location:

Clearwater, FL Professional, office environment.

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote per week. Flexibility may vary based on business needs and changes.
