Join our awesome Team today as an Experienced Apprentice Body Technician continue building your experience in body work and collision repair with Ferman. You'll be part of highly respected Team of experts entrusted with restoring our Guests vehicles to their pre-damage condition and ensuring 100% satisfaction.

Our Collision Centers are impeccably clean, state-of-the-art facilities featuring the latest technological assessment and repair equipment. Whether it's minor scratch and dent repair or more intricate aluminum repair or full body collision repair Ferman Collision will ensure you have everything necessary to do the job correctly, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicles involved in accidents or other damage.
  • Learn and practice techniques for repairing vehicle frames, body panels, and other structural components.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to remove dents, repair scratches, and replace damaged parts.
  • Prepare and apply body filler, primer, and paint to vehicles.
  • Assist in the sanding, buffing, and polishing of vehicle surfaces.
  • Help with the installation and adjustment of automotive parts such as doors, bumpers, fenders, and trim.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure repair processes are completed efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, repair techniques, and industry standards.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in automotive repair.
Qualifications
  • A strong interest in automotive repair and body work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the automotive repair field.
  • Previous experience in an automotive or mechanical field is a plus, but not required.
