Operations Manager

For 30 years, Sign Source has designed, permitted, fabricated, and installed signage for the military, contractors, apartment communities, commercial properties, national brands, schools, and healthcare facilities across the United States. We’re a family-owned business that intentionally stays niche, because customer experience comes first. 85% of our business is repeat business, and our standard is simple: keep our word or die trying.

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to keep the whole operation moving.

• Direct traffic between office staff, field crews, design, and permitting so questions get answered by the right person
• Keep active projects moving from planning through fabrication and installation
• Lead our EOS implementation forward: document processes, build out departmental meetings, and hold the team to the system
• Solve the problems that come up every day, and fix the process behind them
• Manage client and vendor relationships
• Work side by side with Finance to keep every job on track

• 90 days: learn our 7 to 8 step process and start moving traffic
• 6 months: fully direct traffic between the office and the field
• 12 months: take over day-to-day operations

• Strong organization and follow-through
• A calm, steady, collaborative approach to solving problems and working across teams
• Initiative to identify what needs to be done and take ownership of it
• Interest in learning the business directly from its owners

• Sign industry experience
• Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Illustrator

• Full-time, on-site in Clearwater
• Office hours 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday, 8 to 4 Friday; this role typically arrives a bit before open and stays a bit after
• Flexibility for personal and family commitments
• Base salary plus bonus
• A casual, down-to-earth office with two dogs on site
