Schedule:

Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri-Sat, 11:30am-8:00pm.

Wheelchair Transport Service is a local, family-owned non-emergency transportation company serving the Tampa Bay community for over 50 years.

The Position

The customer service representative reports to the Call Center Manager and is responsible for:

  • Following the assigned schedule,
  • Answering inbound calls, emails, and texts,
  • Fulfilling client needs via communication channels, including booking appointments, confirming rides, verifying payment info, handling complaints professionally, etc.,
  • Data entry and scheduling transportation appointments accurately according to departmental standards,
  • Making outbound calls related to scheduled appointments,
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy in bookings,
  • Providing high-level customer service following quality guidelines,
  • Meeting performance targets set by the company,
  • Collaborating with team, supervisor, and other departments for optimal client experience,
  • Staying updated on procedures and standards,
  • Performing other duties as assigned,
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures.

The Position Requires:

  • Eligibility to work in the United States,
  • High school diploma or equivalent,
  • In-office work environment,
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods,
  • Use of headsets for long durations,
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40 WPM),
  • Level 2 background check clearance.
