Bay Care Medical Group, a physician-led medical group, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our established team of three Endocrinologists at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. This opportunity is located on the hospital campus, with convenient access to a variety of multi-specialty Bay Care Medical Group practices, creating an ideal environment for collaboration and continuity of care.
Position Highlights
- Join an established and respected team of 3 Endocrinologists
- Enjoy a 14 shared call schedule - promoting work-life balance
- Practice located on the Morton Plant Hospital campus with easy access to imaging, labs, and subspecialty care
- Diverse caseload of general endocrinology, including diabetes, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disorders.
- Be part of a physician-led group that values your input and clinical expertise
- Provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care
- Prescribe and manage hormone therapies and other treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers across the Bay Care network
- Educate patients and families on endocrine conditions and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and educational activities to advance the field of endocrinology and enhance patient care.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible Florida medical license
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad range of endocrine conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and evidence-based practice
