Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Leading development teams in a new product development environment.
  • Ensure project performance and execution.
  • Managing customer relationships.
  • Schedule and milestone development/management.
  • Understand technology employed on various programs.
  • Develop program/project cost estimates.
  • Baseline development.
  • Program/project metric development and reporting.
  • Variance analysis.
  • Risk and opportunity development and management.
  • Manage supplier relationships.
  • Travel within US and/or internationally may be required.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 4+ years in project engineering or systems engineering.
  • Experience leading development teams in an engineering environment.

  • 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Power point and Outlook).
  • Experience enhancing customer relationships.
  • Program management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage risks and opportunities.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools.
  • Experience with RCCA activities.
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
  • Demonstrated Earned Value Management (EVM) proficiency.
