We are looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer which will be full-time onsite in Clearwater, FL. As a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Through the use of Model-based Engineering, Dev Sec Ops  and Agile practices we continue to evolve how we deliver critical national defense products and capabilities for the warfighter.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for development and transition of the product throughout the production, maintenance, and sustainment phase of the program. The Systems Engineer ensures the integrity of engineering processes, and timely development of core engineering work products. The Systems Engineer interfaces with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, Global Supply Chain Manager, other engineering team leads, as well as the customer.

What

You’ll Get To Do
  • Support critical subcontractor for development and transition of the product throughout the production, maintenance, and sustainment phase of the program
  • Serve as a primary technical interface with the subcontractor on Engineering issues and questions.
  • Act as a technical reviewer of CDRL/SDRLs for quality assessment.
  • Act as an advisor to inter-organizational management and customers on subcontractor’s technical issues and challenges.
  • Support the Program Manager and Engineering Team to make well-structured decisions for program execution.
  • Prepare and present technical materials during major reviews such as Critical Design Review, System Verification Review, Test Readiness Review, and other program reviews as needed.
  • Track and report technical performance measurements.
  • Up to 10% travel to be expected (to customer, supplier, and other Northrop Grumman locations)
