Position OverviewThe Regional Finance Manager plays a key leadership role in guiding and supporting Finance Managers across multiple venues within the region. This position is vital to ensuring strong financial stewardship, consistent accounting practices, and meaningful financial insights for our clients and the communities we serve. The role offers a dynamic blend of analytical work, collaboration, mentoring, and operational impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and monitor the month-end close for all assigned venues, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial activity.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, along with pro forma reporting and management dashboards.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, identify unusual trends or variances, and provide actionable insights to venue leadership.
- Execute internal reviews to confirm adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess the strength of internal controls across venues and recommend or implement enhancements to mitigate risk.
- Evaluate general ledger balances, financial statements, and supporting documentation as part of periodic financial audits.
- Provide dotted-line supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to Finance Managers across multiple locations.
- Participate in recruiting efforts, including evaluating candidates and conducting interviews for open Finance Manager roles.
- Train and mentor newly hired Finance Managers to ensure consistency in processes and standards.
- Support venue General Managers with annual budget creation, financial planning, and scenario modeling.
- Offer high-level business analysis and assist with special financial projects as needed.
- Step in to perform accounting duties for select venues during transitions or staffing shortages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred or in final stages of completion.
- Minimum of 2+ years working full-time in public accounting with demonstrated proficiency in audit, financial reporting, or advisory services.
- Direct public accounting experience is highly valued and strongly preferred.
- Supervisory or team‑lead experience desired; experience supporting multi‑location operations is a plus.
- Strong command of accounting principles and financial management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across several facilities.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to mentor and influence others.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
