Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our growing manufacturing team. This role will work closely with both finance and operations to establish and monitor standard costs, analyze variances, and support key financial and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs, cost control systems, and cost analysis reports.
• Analyze and report on manufacturing variances, job costing, and profitability by product/customer.
• Maintain accurate item masters, bills of materials, and work center cost data.
• Conduct scrap cost analysis, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Track inventory transactions, support cycle counts, and annual physical inventories.
• Perform month-end close tasks, including reconciliations, inventory analysis, and variance reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and special projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
