We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Certified Public Accountant (CPA) specializing in taxation to lead our Tax Department. This role goes beyond tax filing. It’s about strategy, leadership, and excellence
— overseeing the preparation, accuracy, and compliance of all client tax work while mentoring junior accountants and ensuring that every return reflects the highest professional standard.

Schedule:
Work 7 AM–3 PM, Monday to Friday — start early and enjoy your afternoons. - In-Office Role: Based in Clearwater, FL — minutes from the beach and local business centers.

- Lead and manage all aspects of the Tax Department, including oversight of junior tax staff.
- Conduct and review business, personal, and trust tax filings with precision and compliance.
- Implement strategic tax planning and forecasting to minimize liabilities and optimize financial performance.
- Perform quality control checks on all tax work to ensure complete accuracy.
- Review and interpret financial statements; create, finalize, and file accurate tax forms with the IRS.
- Tax Expertise & Leadership
Active CPA license required.
Minimum 8 years of professional tax experience.
Deep understanding of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.
Experience with tax amendments and strategic tax planning.
Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior accountants. - Communication & Professionalism
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with executives and high-net-worth clients.
Positive, cheerful, and solutions-oriented approach.
