The gender-neutral nature of the salon & spa caters to women & men from all backgrounds, allowing our team of service providers to provide an exceptional experience and accommodate the various needs of our clients.

The Role and Opportunity: Weare seeking Nail Technicians specializing in manicure and pedicure services to joinour growing team who will perform each service in a safe and sanitary environment in compliance with our service protocols. While not required, in addition to manicures and pedicures our ideal candidate may also have experience with or an interest in waterless pedicures and gel builder enhancement manicure services. Our Manicurists will receive hourly base pay plus commission for services performed and retail sales.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a thorough consultation with each client before every service to analyze the condition of their nails and to understand their preferences and desired outcomes
• Perform manicures, waterless pedicures and gel builder enhancement manicure services, including trimming, shaping, buffing and polishing client’s nails
• Perform hand and forearm massages to the elbowand foot and calf massages to the knee
• Utilize salon tools and equipment, such as nail clippers, nail files, buffers and autoclaves
• Clean and sanitize tools, equipment and workstations to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Educate each client and provide recommendations on how to properly care for their new manicure and pedicure services at home basedon their lifestyle, and suggest suitable products for home aftercare as necessary
• Engage with clients as a subject matter expertin your field while having a thorough understanding of all related products
• Attend required trainings and meetings with afocus on compliance of policies and procedures to ensure the salon is operating in a safe and sanitary environment
• Comply with and enforce salon policies and standard operating procedures
• Review processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement throughout the salon on an ongoing basis
• Participate in the daily morning and closing line-up meetings
• Review and update client records,including inserting proper notes in client records for future tracking
• Meet performance metrics and review results withthe Salon Director to ensure career growth and development
• Collaborate with peers and develop internal and external cross functional partnerships with other service providers, vendors,Experience Coordinators and the Salon Director

Desired

Requirements and Skills:

• Previous experience as a Manicurist, Nail Technician or recent beauty or cosmetology school graduate
• Have a Cosmetologist, Nail Specialist or Full Specialist cosmetology license issued by the state of Florida that is activeand in good standing
• Familiarity with hand, forearm, foot and calf massage techniques
• Experience and the desire to work in a customer service focused role
• Familiarity with best practices for safety and sanitary protocols in a salon & spa environment
• Experience with Vagaro or similar salon software is a plus
• Ability to interact collaboratively and build cross functional relationships internally and with a customer base
• Experience performing in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized and proactive with attention todetail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, while being flexible and performance-oriented with the ability to work independently
