Medical Assistant
Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking Medical Assistant for our Largo location. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality cardiovascular care and are looking for an individual that is skilled, motivated and enjoys being part of an excellent team. Medical Assistants are primarily responsible for taking patients back to exam rooms and preparing them for their doctor’s visits. Responsibilities also include EKGs, BP checks and medication reconciliation.
Other assignments include stocking rooms, scanning records, preparing/screening telehealth visits etc. We are looking for a team player that makes patients care about their priority with a positive outlook.
- Record patient vital signs, height, weight, and BMI during visits.
- Assist with medical assessments and monitor patient
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system.
- Manage medication inventory and order supplies.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and safety regulations.
- Address patient concerns and relay messages to healthcare providers.
- Provide clear instructions on prescribed medications, treatments, and dietary plans.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, but not necessary
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
