Salary: $73,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a caring, compassionate, mission-driven IDT Facilitator to work specifically with children and their families who have come to the attention of the child protective investigation division of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, and who have been determined to be safe but at high risk of future child abuse and neglect. Together We Rise will work with all members of the family with a team-based approach in a supportive, empowering, and respectful manner to assist the family with creating safe and stable parenting practices to facilitate long-term behavior change that will ensure that children are safe in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate case conferences, documenting progress, identifying regress, and reducing barriers to family stability.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate all necessary IDT staffing at a minimum of every 15 days.
  • Lead strength-based discussions that identify needs and resources for the family.
  • Drive the service plan established with the family to ensure immediate mitigation of risk and address clinical needs.
  • Maintain dual entries into the agency electronic health record and the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN).
  • Coordinate field-based sessions at families’ homes or mutually identified convenient locations.
  • Ensure the family and all support team members (faith leaders, family members, friends, neighbors) attend every session.
  • Meet 112 client‑facing billable hours per month.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related area of study, or a master's degree in Social Work or related area.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with at-risk populations, including families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health issues, or emotionally disturbed children.
  • Required to become certified as a High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator within the first six months of hire, and a High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator COACH within one year of hire.
  • Previous child welfare experience preferred.
