Position: Pediatric CNA Overnight Full-time

FT Pediatric CNA 7p-7a – The Goodman Group, LLC

Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation community is seeking a FULL-TIME PEDIATRIC OVERNIGHT (7P-7A) CNA to join our clinical team. Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in direct pediatric patient care as a CNA. Ideal candidate will have experience in a long‑term, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation care facility and have ventilator and/or trach experience with pediatric patients.

Shifts: Full-time, 7p-7a – must be flexible for rotational weekends and holidays.

Wage: $17–$21 per hour, with shift differential.

The Certified Nursing Assistant plays an integral role in supporting nursing department functions, assisting residents with daily living activities, and ensuring a high quality care environment.

Essential

Job Duties
  • Provide physical support for residents during daily living activities, including lifts, transfers, bed mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, exercising, meals, and vital signs.
  • Observe and document health, behavior, and condition of residents; report changes promptly to nurse.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident call signals, alert systems, and intercoms to determine needs.
  • Promote personal and resident safety and maintain a clean environment following infection control practices.
  • Communicate resident conditions, changes, and concerns to nurses.
  • Complete required documentation timely.
  • Provide companionship, comfort, and support to residents.
  • Meet federal and state in‑service requirements.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Critical Skills
  • Make independent decisions and follow instructions.
  • Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
  • Work effectively with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, residents, and families.
Education and Experience
  • Meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
  • Minimum 1 year of direct pediatric patient care.
  • Experience in long‑term, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation care facility preferred.
