Position Overview

Bay Care Medical Group is a physician-led medical group actively recruiting for an experienced Neurosurgical Physician Assistant to join our team of five board certified neurosurgeons, supported by three physician assistants in the office, hospital and OR. The opportunity is in Clearwater, Florida at Morton Plant Hospital and is the premier choice for neurosurgical care in Pinellas County.

• The team specializes in treating all surgical cranial, spinal, and cerebrovascular conditions with the most advanced neurosurgical procedures and a customized treatment plan.
• Call responsibilities are shared evenly between the team.
• Experience as a physician assistant in neurosurgery, including first assisting is required.

• NCCPA Certification and Florida License required
• Experience as a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant and first assisting is strongly preferred
• Applicants who have completed Neurosurgical clinical rotation will also be considered
• Solid knowledge of brain and spine pathologies
