Summary
The Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) is a full clinical member of the health care team and is considered the lead expert in Spiritual Care issues. Provides services for the pastoral/spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members. Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Certification is NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains) or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains). Required Education is a Master's Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related. 4 units, 1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education.

Board Certified or eligible for Board Certification.
Board Certification documentation must be submitted to required certification body within one year from date of hire/transfer date and submitted in MIC-INFOR by the team member.
