Job Duties:
- Oversees, manages, and routinely updates company policies & handbooks.
- Coordinates and manages company benefits administration and renewal, including but not limited to 401k, health, vision, dental, and other benefits. >
- Handles all workers’ compensation, labor, and unemployment claims and issues.
- Administers full-cycle Payroll operations through Gusto, Deel, & timekeeping systems such as Homebase for all domestic and international employees or contractors.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Facilitates and implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Manages all employee onboarding tasks, including new hire documentation, e-verify, and background checks.
- Responsible for handling employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist supervisors with constructive and timely performance evaluations for associates.
- Reviews all employee job descriptions, 90-day training plans, and performance reviews with supervisor.
- Cross-trained in office management to assist when needed.
- Responsible for monthly reporting and project updates to present during bi-weekly Director’s Meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Collects and analyzes employee survey data and other related employee data for improvements and suggestions
- Possess strong project management skills, including software knowledge of Asana.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Thorough understanding of Linked In, Indeed, Glassdoor, Upwork, and other relevant job boards.
- Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, psychology, business, or related major preferred but not required.
- SHRM-CP or SCP Certification
