Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Java Backend
Developer who will join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, Spring Framework, HL7 and FHIR api experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Java experience in working with HL7 data (experience with HAPI api is a plus)
  • Help with integration via the HL7 and FHIR protocols
  • Develop restful web services in Java
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the above integrations
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards

Education, Training, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, data analytics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development. Focus on healthcare integration a plus
  • Extensive experience with HL7 data and FHIR api a must
  • Experience with Spring Framework (experience with Spring Batch framework is a plus)
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Must have access to stable, reliable high‑speed internet access
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to remain in a stationary position, constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information, with the ability to effectively utilize voice over internet protocol; and repetitive motions using fingers and forearms in data entry. Must reside within the contiguous United States.

During your employment, you will be expected to maintain a separate office/room within your home to create suitable working conditions and a sense of privacy.

Target Compensation

$100,000 - $145,000 depending on Length of Experience, Education, Demonstrated Skill Set and Certifications.
