Electronic Technician

Pay Range: $23-$30/hour on W2 (US Citizen Only)

Will learn to perform a variety of tasks such as monitoring, reading, and recording test data for navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units undergoing testing. The ability to learn how to start automated and manual test setup from training and using procedures to ensure proper testing of each unit. Learn the proper handling, mounting, and testing of units which includes the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, power decade boxes and various other test equipment.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of electronics or other related area.
• The ability to pick up on test process quickly & efficiently. Capacity to learn to read & understand schematic drawing.
• Familiar with standard test lab concepts, practices, and procedures within the field such as 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Detection), & ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices.
• Relies on learned experiences, judgment, & skills to plan and accomplish goals.
• Works under the supervision of Test Lead or Test Engineer.
• A certain degree of vision to spot issues before they arise, and latitude of decision making is required.
• Typically reports to a Test Lead or Test Engineer.
