Overview
Latitude is seeking a litigation attorney for a fully remote in-house contract engagement with one of its national insurance company clients. This role involves investigating potential breaches of contract, engaging directly with agents to resolve outstanding commission issues, and working with management to implement solutions ranging from negotiated payment plans to formal dispute resolution measures. Applicants must have at least 3 years of litigation or dispute management experience.
Prior experience working with the litigation group of an AmLaw 200 firm or a sophisticated boutique firm is preferred.

- Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school

- Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence

Compensation:
The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits:
Latitude contract professionals are usually W-2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
