LED Light Fixtures Assembler

Hiring assemblers to perform the final assemblies of our LED Lighting product line. This position is very active as it is the final assembly in our production line to ship orders out to clients.

• Perform assembly operations to build light fixtures and accessories with quality in mind.
• Read and follow work order instructions and assembly schematics.
• Assembly requires riveting using a compressed air rivet gun, siliconing parts, twisting on parts, cleaning finished products and bagging.
• Occasionally spray paint, sand blast or polish parts.
• Soldering electronics
• Speed of assembly and quality of final assemblies is how your performance will be measured - avoid re-work and quality returns.
• Observe and follow safety guidelines specific to your work area.
• Maintaining work space and assigned tools clean and orderly - daily and weekly.
• Cross-train and work in all areas of production as workload requires it.

• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred.
• Experienced using basic hand and power tools.
• Able to read and follow work orders, assembly instructions and basic technical drawings.
• Good communication and positive attitude.

You will be working in a manufacturing facility, where we are machining, welding, soldering, powder coating and assembling parts from raw aluminum bars to finished product, in a production building with CNC Machines, Powder Coating spray and oven, Soldering, Polishing, TIG Welding, Chemical washes and spray paints.

We use as much ventilation and filtration systems as possible as well as selecting the least harmful materials and supplies possible for each job that is required. We continuously review and establish engineering controls and PPE. Our process and equipment does pose exposure to spray paints, coolants, soldering and welding fumes as well as aluminum dust.

Must be able to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds.

Must be able to sit and/or stand at a work station for 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work 2 to 4 hours at a time. This position requires manual dexterity and constant use of hands to assemble using manual and power tools.

We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.

Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00PM with two paid 15-minute breaks and a full unpaid lunch hour, with some flexibility to work overtime when needed based on workload. Hourly rate $18-20 per hour, negotiable based on skillset and experience.
