- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am
$14.00/hr – $18.40/hr
Position SummaryThe Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality molded parts according to production standards and specifications. This entry‑level role involves performing routine checks, maintaining cleanliness around machines, and assisting with basic troubleshooting and part inspection.
Key Responsibilities- Operate injection molding machines safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inspect molded parts for quality – checking dimensions, appearance, and defects.
- Trim, package, and label finished parts according to work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping guidelines.
- Communicate machine or quality issues to technicians, leads, or supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Previous experience in manufacturing or plastics production preferred but not required – training provided.
Skills & Abilities- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Fast-paced production environment.
- Air‑conditioned facility.
- May require working shifts, weekends, or overtime.
