Electronic Technician – MET – SR. Electronic Technician CCA Manufacturing - 2nd shift
Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as an Electronic Technician, performing test apparatus setup, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality verification to ensure high production standards.
CompensationBase Pay: $27.00/hr - $32.00/hr.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT).
Responsibilities- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
- Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
- Adjust and calibrate systems as required; correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components.
- Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices to perform job duties.
- Determine types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance.
- Assist engineers in designing and developing test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures (when required).
- Strong knowledge of Solid State devices and micro‑circuitry.
- Proficiency with measurement devices including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters.
- Ability to troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams on analog and digital circuitry.
- Capable of working in a dynamic production environment and meeting customer schedules.
- US citizenship required (ITAR).
- Solid experience with electronic test and troubleshooting in defense or aerospace manufacturing.
