Outpatient Clinic Staff Nurse LPN

Overview

AMA Medical Group is hiring for a part-time or full-time LPN Outpatient Clinic role in the Dunedin, FL area. The position involves taking vital signs, evaluating patient needs in person and on the phone, administering prescribed medications, and assisting the physician with examinations and treatments.

Compensation: competitive wage with a $500 sign-on bonus.

• Take vitals and document nursing assessments
• Evaluate patient needs in person and via phone triage
• Administer prescribed medications
• Assist physicians with examinations and treatments
• Enter data and perform other nursing duties in the EMR system
• Utilize managed care processes for cost-effective and efficient use of lab, radiology, and ancillary services

• Current LPN Florida license
• 1+ years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Bachelor s degree in health or business administration OR an additional 4 years of comparable work experience
• CPR certification
• IV certification
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM
