Loved Veterinary Services is a veterinarian-founded practice dedicated to supporting pets and their families through quality-of-life care, hospice support, and peaceful in-home euthanasia.
We believe families deserve time, clarity, and compassionate medical guidance during one of the most difficult parts of loving a pet. Our veterinarians have the opportunity to practice deeply meaningful medicine in the comfort of home, supported by a team that helps coordinate scheduling, client communication, aftercare, marketing, and the many details happening behind the scenes.
Our veterinarians work independently in the field, but never independently from the team. You'll have autonomy in caring for your patients while working within shared clinical standards, communication expectations, and systems that allow us to provide a consistent Loved experience to every family.
What You'll DoProvide meaningful, individualized care:
- Perform in-home quality-of-life assessments and euthanasia services with compassion, confidence, and excellent medical judgment.
- Help families understand their options and navigate end-of-life decisions without feeling rushed.
- Individualize care for each patient and family while consistently delivering the clinical and client-care standards that define Loved.
- Handle patients and aftercare with dignity and respect throughout the entire experience.
- Prepare thoughtfully for each appointment and arrive reliably within scheduled appointment windows.
- Communicate clearly with families before, during, and after their appointment.
- Complete medical records, client follow-up, controlled-drug documentation, and other clinical responsibilities accurately and promptly.
- Proactively communicate delays, changes, concerns, or support needs so families and the Loved team are never left wondering what is happening.
- Manage daily responsibilities without direct supervision while remaining connected and responsive to the larger Loved team.
- Consistently use Loved's scheduling, communication, medical-record, and task-management platforms.
- Maintain appropriate medications, equipment, supplies, and required documentation.
- Follow established clinical and operational protocols while bringing your own medical judgment, personality, and compassion to patient care.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Build genuine relationships with local veterinary teams and pet-care professionals.
- Represent Loved professionally within your community.
- Participate periodically in referral-partner visits, educational opportunities, veterinary organizations, and community events.
Our scheduling model is intentionally designed to protect the time and emotional capacity required for meaningful end-of-life care.
Full-time veterinarians maintain approximately 20 two-hour bookable service blocks each week, distributed across reasonable and useful appointment times for the families we serve.
As the market grows, our goal is a sustainable average of approximately 15 completed services per veterinarian each week.
This provides room for travel, cancellations, documentation, follow-up, team responsibilities, and the unpredictable nature of end-of-life care without creating a traditional production-driven environment. Veterinarians have meaningful input into how their schedule is structured while maintaining availability that appropriately supports the needs of their market.
