Direct Sales Agent Specialist (1283) – Direct Auto role at Direct Auto Insurance.
Direct Auto Insurance (an Allstate Business) seeks a motivated direct sales agent to drive new business sales and provide outstanding customer service across our network of retail locations.
Job Responsibilities- Drive new business sales and understand customers’ needs to build rapport and trust.
- Build and retain a book of business within the market/retail location.
- Attract and generate new customers and cross‑sell existing customers across Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance products.
- Sell to walk‑in customers, market products via marketing calls, and conduct in‑person visits to build community relationships.
- Assist customers in the office and handle payment processing.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing preferred or must obtain required licensure within 90 days of joining.
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell / retention.
- Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active presence in local community.
- Initiates outbound calling to target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitors key competitors and recommends initiatives to improve market position.
- Collaborates with Direct Sales Leadership on marketing and sales processes.
- Delivers optimal results within quality, quantity, timeliness, and financial performance metrics.
- Stays current on company underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
- Processes customer payments and verifies cash drawer reports.
- Unlicensed Candidates: Base $17.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Licensed Candidates: Base $20.00 per hour, requiring active license and minimum 6 months P&C sales experience.
- Potential incentive pay including commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
